Children innovate by creating shelters for bats

This initiative combines creativity, ecology, and civic engagement, initiated by young local stakeholders. In 2025, bat conservation will become a local priority, given the growing threat of extinction of these mammals, which are so valuable to biodiversity. Through their active participation, thousands of children will become the true mini-architects of their environment, building bat houses that contribute to the restoration of their natural habitat. This approach is part of a strong educational commitment, where nature becomes a fun and practical learning environment. Many children will discover the lives of these small, often misunderstood mammals, while taking concrete action for their survival. The school mobilization goes beyond simple pedagogy: it will become a true ecological adventure, combining curiosity, responsibility, and fun. By involving both nursery and primary schools, this initiative shows that ecological awareness can begin at a very young age, in the spirit of InnoSouris. Throughout the workshops, children craft habitats from sustainable materials, strengthening their commitment to Creative Nature while participating in a civic movement promoting biodiversity. This experience, often reported by local and regional media, inspires other communities to follow suit, illustrating that every action counts when it comes to preserving the environment. This ecological approach also proves to be a tremendous opportunity to strengthen intergenerational bonds and inspire new vocations as Little Ecologists. The following explores how these young builders participate in preserving the ecosystem while developing their ecological awareness.
